HRL Laboratories is a premier physical science and engineering research laboratory. With over 1,100 patents and counting, our scientists, engineers, and support staff carry on a tradition of technical excellence and innovation that has continued over 70 years.

HRL strives to be a good neighbor and approaches environmental stewardship and sustainability with the same dedication as we do our work. We manage our resources ethically and take on challenges to reduce our environmental footprint.

This inaugural Corporate Sustainability Report is to establish a baseline for key sustainability metrics to assist HRL in making informed decisions for future projects and initiatives. It will provide the framework to accurately track the impact of these efforts going forward. HRL is just getting started on its sustainability journey and this report is the beginning of our efforts to maintain quality data to keep us on our course of sustainability going forward.
